Merchant and Mills European Laundered Linen Fabric. Big Sur is a neutral coloured European Laundered Linen from Merchant and Mills core fabric range has been enzyme washed to give a beautifully soft, distressed finish. A lovely weight and drape which makes this fabric ideal for most garments; for example it’s ideal for sewing all the garments in Workbook along with most of the Merchant and Mills sewing patterns.

Our Scanfil Organic Thread in Beige is a good match for this colourway, available in both 100m and 275m spools.

100% Linen • 143cm wide • 185gms            

Price is per HALF metre. So, if you require 1.5 metres for example, you’ll need to enter 3 in the quantity box.     

Merchant and Mills  recommend that you machine wash this fabric at 30 or 40 degrees linen cycle with a mild detergent before you start your sewing project.  And the really good news… it’s been designed not to be ironed!
